With so many bookings pushed into 2021 due to the unexpected travel restrictions from last year, it is clear to see that many people have been taking the decision to book their long overdue holiday now to avoid disappointment!

With a dramatic reduction in the possibility for winter ski this year, everyone’s focus seems to be on the summer and substituting the white snow filled mountains with miles of white sandy beaches.

Couple this with generous booking terms and the result is a massive rush to secure a beautiful holiday villa.

During lockdown and short, wintery days, it’s easy for your mind to wonder and dream of the perfect holiday in the perfect location.

Due to Invenio Homes’ extensive selection of properties, consisting of over 600 villas in Ibiza alone, we have been seeing first hand a real spike in reservations.

In the months of January and February, we averaged over two bookings a day, validating our commitment to our agent network offering properties of all different styles and prices.

Our Mykonos portfolio is also showing regular calendar updates, but of the two locations it feels like Ibiza is filling up more quickly.

Most of our portfolio is now offering 100% refund or alternative dates if Ibiza is closed to tourists.

On top of that, the mandatory 50% reservation deposit seems to have a lot more flexibility than it used to.
